Every store, no matter how big or small, needs some sort of customer display, bottom line. Not only does such a display add a needed level of professionalism, but it gives customers a real-time sense of how much is being spent. It also adds credibility; it's hard to imagine customers taking the cashier's word on how much is owed. In short, customers want to see solid proof of their running totals.
Setting up a cash register or POS solution for small businesses is usually quite cost prohibitive, with most pole displays alone running for more than $200.00 each. Custom software has been written by ForeSight Systems LLC to support the highly successful free point of sale/cash register software (DHPOS), which uses a simple PC setup, available for
download here. DHPOS users are now able to use Pertelian as their pole display solution, bringing these advantages to their business:

2. Placement – With a 6 foot cable, custom stand, and Velcro attachment, users can place the display on countertops, in front of security glass, over counters, attached to sneeze guards, suspended from the ceiling, ANYWHERE!
3. Power - Since the X2040 is powered off the USB port it does not require a seperate power supply. So, this means that no matter what country you're in or what voltage is used, if your computer runs, your pole display will run.
4. Installation – Installing Pertelian Pole is a breeze! Pertelian Pole uses a "one-step" installation file and we also provide a detailed instruction roadmap, complete with images, to assure you'll be up and running with ease.
5. Innovation – Nothing from ForeSight Systems is released without some innovation included. Unique to the Pertelian Pole Display, customers can see what the total tax is for every transaction.
6. Size – Although overall smaller than standard pole displays, Pertelian uses a clear 4x20 LCD, easily allowing people to read the display more than a yard away and allowing additional information to show on other lines such as total tax, subtotal and item descriptions. Moreover, the ability to place the LCD anywhere using the custom stand or Velcro attachment lets you place it as close to your customers as you want.
7. Tough – The Pertelian LCD is custom made to be durable and tough. Its enclosure is sonically wielded, making the entire unit effectively a single piece.
8. Backlight – Lightening doesn’t matter when using Pertelian. Users are able to toggle a backlight on or off with a push of a button.
